Carla Franco live at Cafe Roux

Following the release of her third studio album, Carla Franco performs her brand new ballads live at Cafe Roux.

Originally from Bloemfontein, Franco is a hearing-impaired singer-songwriter who doesn’t let her disability get in her way. Her previous album, ‘LAYERS’, earned her a SAMA nomination for Best Alternative Album, with the track ‘ANY BETTER’ hitting number one on multiple national radio stations.

Now, after three years, she is back with her most introspective and vulnerable album. ‘A FUNERAL FOR MY GRIEF’ combines Franco’s uniquely powerful voice, stripped-back instrumentals, and devastating writing to deliver listeners an honest exploration of heartbreak.

Audiences will be among the first to hear the new material performed live, with drummer Marlon Green, guitarist Chad Skippers, bassist Ricardo Antha, and Annie Curtin on keyboard and backup vocals.
